With the surprise news that Royal AM have been removed out of the DStv Diski Challenge this weekend, it looked to be business as usual for their undeterred owner Shauwn Mkhize. Here's a look!
The story
On Friday last week, the PSL announced that they excluded Royal AM's reserve side from participation from the Diski league.
"Royal AM Football Club has been unable to field a team in the 2024/25 DStv Diski Challenge competition due to a FIFA registration ban," the PSL said in a statement on Friday.
"After reviewing the facts and representations presented by the club this week, the PSL Executive Committee has resolved to halt Royal AM Football Club's participation in the 2024/25 DStv Diski Challenge competition."

The club's issues have been widely publicised, as they are currently serving a transfer ban for failing to pay the salary of Samir Nurkovic.
Despite all this, the club boss Mkhize was out and about looking stunning as usual and appeared to not let the noise from outside affect her. On Sunday, she posted images of herself at the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa in Waterfront, Cape Town.
She was also then spotted at a lush wine-farm in Stellenbosch, where the occasion seemed upmarket.
It remains to be seen whether the KwaZulu-Natal businesswoman will make a public comments on Royal AM's recent exclusion from the Dsiki Challenge but in the mean time, Mkhize looks to be enjoying her life as per usual.
