AmaZulu midfielder Siphelele Maduna could secure a move to Kaizer Chiefs when the transfer window re-opens in January.

Maduna is currently training with AmaZulu's reserve team after being deemed surplus to requirements at the club for this season.

According to a source close to the player's camp, the 23-year-old rejected a new offer from Usuthu, with his contract set to expire in June, giving him the chance to sign a pre-contract with a new club in January.

The source also revealed that its Maduna's dream to join Kaizer Chiefs. Here's how the readers reacted to the "'His dream is to join Kaizer Chiefs' - Maduna set to leave AmaZulu" story:

"Having the player willing to play for your team is good, but then the question is whether he is good enough to be offered a contract. But again, if he was offered the contract, which he rejected, then he can't be surplus to requirements," says Downs rule.

"Every player is good enough to play for Chiefs, as long as they are a free agent," says Saavedra.

"He learned nothing from Sithebe. Good luck to him," says INBOX VAT ALLES.

"This boy has no ambition," says thabot.boshielo.

"His ambition is to play for Chiefs. Don't you understand that?" replies Rio Da Khosi.

"Then there is no ambition because he is not going to win trophies," replies Saavedra.

"You statement is redundant, there are no finite types of ambitions. There's no right or wrong type of ambition, so what ever the boy wants is his ambition," replies sizweking.

"He learnt from Manqoba Mngqithi, who is sitting under Rulani's underwear, showing no ambition whatsoever," says Danito 4 Life.

'The national team has to move for the PSL' - Broos hits out at PSL

Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has hit out at the Premier Soccer League over the DStv Premiership schedule that's set to run deep into the festive season.

The league's December schedule complicates AFCON preparations for Hugo Broos, with his troops kicking off their tournament in the Ivory Coast against Mali on 16 January.

Speaking to the media ahead of Bafana's friendly against Eswatini, Broos says the league's lengthy schedule offers him little time to prepare his team for AFCON, expressing concern over the possibility of his key players getting injured.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "'The national team has to move for the PSL' - Broos hits out at PSL" story:

"The stubbornness of an old man... He's also laying the foundation to defend himself if he fails. Bafana haven't played a game yet, but already he's making excuses as to why he might not do well.

"This negative mentality tells the players that they aren't expected to do well, so why even try?" says NoPain.

"Read again. The man is making sense. You don't know what you're talking about," replies INBOX VAT ALLES.

"It boggles my mind why you are still employed. When Pitso and Mashaba did the same, they were fired. Clearly there is no relationship between SAFA and the PSL.
