SNAPS: The best from TS Galaxy's picturesque Turkey trip

TS Galaxy wrapped up their overseas mid-season trip to Turkey last week and the players have since posted some really cool snaps from their time in Europe. Here's a look!

The story

Tim Sukazi's men took a rare football excursion to Europe earlier this month, where they prepared for the resumption of the DStv Premiership with friendlies against Turkish, Italian, and German opposition.

They, unfortunately, failed to pick up a victory, as they drew 1-1 in their first game against  Giresunspor, lost 5-1 to Serie A side Sampdoria, and were narrowly defeated 2-1 by Dynamo Dresden of the German third-tier.

Nevertheless, it has definitely been a rare team excursion for any South African club, with giants like Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs, and Orlando Pirates hardly ever taking trips of this nature abroad.

Although it was a learning experience on the pitch, it was certainly an immensely wonderful time for the Galaxy players as they appear to have visited the overly stunning The Land of Legends themed-park.

One of their stops was at a local beach and the likes of Sibusiso Vilakazi, Pogiso Sanoka, and former Kaizer Chiefs talisman Bernard Parker couldn't resist a dip.

The club will return to league action on 30 December against Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium, as they look to work their way up the table from the bottom half. They currently sit in the 12th spot on the DStv Prem standings, with just 13 points in 12 games.
