Reigning DStv Premiership champs Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the signing of Thapelo Maseko from Tshwane rivals SuperSport United.
The 20-year-old winger becomes the club's fourth signing of the transfer window and the sixth player to move from Matsatsantsa to Downs in the last three season.
Maseko's signature is a major coup for Sundowns who were competing with Belgian outfit KVC Westerlo for the young Bafana international's services.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Sundowns complete yet another signing" story:
"Good move. At least you have satisfied your European dream," says NickNaks.
"Welcome to the home of champions TM, you will learn from the best," says Zebra to hell.
"With these kind of signings, the gap between Sundowns and others keep widening. A matter of 'catch us if you can' and a likely change of Sundowns' play in certain matches," says makhause(2).
"In other words, it is more of a strengthening/reinforcement than signing. Shame for my team and other teams, it is more a matter of 'if you can't have the one you like, just like the one you are with..'" says Wild.Dog.
"This is a great signing. I hope he settles very quickly. Our future is bright, all the best to Mailula. I hope Maseko will follow suit in the next couple of years," says Minwana Phezulu.
"Welcome, you are guaranteed gold medal in your first season with Downs," says kaujoe.
"You have joined the African University of football, it's time for you to shine. Remember, it's just the beginning, Sundowns is very demanding. It need more than talent, ask Silva. You can only improve from here, playing along Mshishi, Mendieta, Sirino etc. You have football brains around you," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.

Sticking with the Brazilians, the club rather surprisingly announced that they're negotiating with a Major League Soccer outfit for the transfer of Cassius Mailula.
Sundowns didn't name the North American side chasing the young Bafana striker's signature, with Toronto FC tipped as the favourites to sign the 22-year-old.
Mailula has been at Downs since he was 13 years old and last season was his breakthrough into the first team, bagging 15 goals in all competitions and receiving the PSL Young Footballer of the Year award.
Here's how the readers reacted to "CONFIRMED | North American side in talks to sign Downs star" story:
"We don't sell our best players locally, they gotta fly overseas. If we sell locally, then know they are flat or free bees," says Zebra to hell.
"Was this necessary…? Or professional even? How about you wait, then announce a move or something like that instead of 'talks' which might not even lead to a move knowing how difficult Sundowns can be, this whole 'announcement' smacks of desperation and a need to be on the news, so unbecoming of Downs," says boilerotholi.
"Shalulile, Mshishi, Bradley Grobler, Riva Coetzee, Mathoho a few players that come to mind who could've explored North American and Middle East opportunities about 5 years ago. Could've made a killing in those regions," says Lesoganatsoko.
"Phil Masinga, Sizwe Motaung, Matthew Booth, Bennet Mnguni, Ben10, Keegan Dolly, Tau and many other players move from Ka Bo Yellow to overseas. Sundowns sell when they want, they are not desperate," says sizwe.
"We were told that Sundowns are not a selling club as they can outmatch any offer football wise. Secondly, it's the second anonymous club that's after the calf's services, says Football psychology.
"This statement is clear and we all hope the young player can move and adjust much quicker at any new environment. Tau did well and with good revenue more young players can explore the world. Europe is not the only solution to improve," says lombosngoape.
"I don't think players can really improve in places like North America, Middle East or China like they would if based in Europe however, they can certainly make a lot of money in those regions which I'm all for.
"Let's be honest, our players are not necessarily A-grade, so it will be hard for them to crack it in the EPL ,La Liga, Serie A etc. So if someone else can pay them over 10 million per annum, I say go for the moola," says lombosngoape.
"I disagree, been watching Blom lately and he's become 10 times the player he was at Chiefs, if the desire is there, the player will improve for sure," responds boilerotholi to lombosngoape.
"North America is a bit backwards in developing African players, I would rather he chose European leagues," says makhause(2).
"Going too soon , I was really enjoying the way He plays. He reminds me of the Great Romario," says Mokaubere.
