PSL striker's stunning R500k secret to match-winning heroics?

A DStv Premiership star produced some magic that helped his side bag three points over the weekend. Could the fabulous R500k possessions be the secret to his success?

SuperSport United forward Bradley Grobler's 86th-minute goal earned his side a 1-0 victory over Royal AM on Wednesday, helping the Pretoria outfit climb to fifth on the table.

The veteran attacker received the ball inside the opposition penalty area, turned sideways to shift the ball onto his left foot before slotting it in the back of the net.

It was a stylish effort — almost as stylish as the cars he has been spotted in during the span of his career. Great footballers who have achieved many things in their careers have all been spotted driving the fanciest of cars and it's a trend that has been around for a long while and shows no signs of disappearing.

It's a trend that Grobler has carried out as well, having been spotted with two iconic, luxurious and that even footballers who are extremely flamboyant off of the field would admire.

The two cars are: The 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA CLA250 and the Jeep Wrangler. The 36-year-old seems to mostly drive the latter, taking it with him on outings like a trip to the Safari, something the player seems very fond of doing.

In fact, Grobler and his brother own the Ubhuti lodge — located in the Kruger National park — as well as their own Open Safari Vehicle.

In terms of his personal wheels, it's quite a pricey catalogue. The Merc, according to Auto Trader, costs around R290 000 while a 2010 model of the Wrangler can cost a whopping R300 000.
