Ronaldinho supports Foster's Burnley!

Ronaldinho is understood to have a special interest in Lyle Foster's Burnley, which could see him coming to Turf Moor to show his support.

At the beginning of the season, the Clarets released a statement confirming that Joao Mendes, Ronaldinho's son, had been added to the side's U21s squad.

The 19-year-old was a product of the FC Barcelona academy, and was a part of La Masia's U/19 setup before making the move to England.

"I'm a technical and fast player and my main is helping the team win games," he said after signing for Burnley, per the club's official website.

Now, we will have the opportunity to do so at the highest level, with Rising Ballers reporting that the teenager has been included in Burnley's 25-man EFL squad for the rest of the season.

The Lancashire-based side are currently in third place on the Championship table, three points behind Sheffield United in second and eight away from league-leaders Leeds United.

The teenager will be looking to not only try and secure a consistent starting spot in Scott Parker's line-up, but would also be dreaming of being able to play a role in helping the side get back into England's top-flight after being relegated last season.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Mendes played for various clubs including Flamengo and Vasco da Gama before signing his first professional contract with Cruzeiro at the age of 14.
