A South African events company has brought the wonderful world of football and the worlds of fashion and partying together in a remarkable manner.
Prime Time CPT recently hosted a few events that saw party-goers, fashion lovers and soccer fans assemble under the same roof, which equated to a wonderful time.
Prime is a multi genre, youth culture event, operating primarily in Cape Town and Johannesburg with plans to expand to more cities in the country soon.
Fashion is a core aspect of the event whether through specific themed events or through the way in which the crowd shows up. There's always a range of themes incorporated and one of the more recent ones is Blokecore.
Blokecore speaks to the inspired style and aesthetic attached to match day and pub culture in the UK but extends well beyond that with South Africa also boasting a rich history whether it being centred around football, fashion or the intersect between the two.
Prime hosted a Blokecore event in January in Johannesburg and in March in Cape Town and managed to get a triple Hypebeast feature via their global Hypebeast main page, Hypebeast Style Hypebeast Africa
Prime remains at the forefront of youth culture and fashion based events since its start in 2016. The platform is sponsored and supported by Circa 1430 Vodka aligning with its youth culture and lifestyle brand positioning.

The organisation hosted its second ever edition of Prime Presents Extra Time on 20 September at the Rooftop at Hallmark House in Johannesburg, which saw attendees come in their various football jerseys.
"As you know by now, the theme is Blokecore in its various forms whether football jerseys, tees, tracksuits and more," the event company said on social media.
Whether they were wearing the jerseys of the club they supported, or wearing a jersey because it was just that fashionable, everybody pulled up in majestic kits.
Some were new; others were retro. One thing, though, is certain: It was an amalgamation of footballing beauty.

Just a week later, another event was hosted in Cape Town, at the Twinnell Rooftop in Loop street.
Much like the first, it was a good time filled with dancing, smile and, of course, football jerseys that would either peak a fan's interest or bring back some memories with the vintage attire that was on display.
The event was described by the organisers as: "Our Blokecore themed event celebrating the intersection between streetwear and match day culture."
