Wydad fans urge POTM Mailula to stay in Casablanca!

Wydad Athletic Club fans are urging Cassius Mailula to stay in Casablanca amid reports suggesting that the side would like to make his move permanent. 

It has been claimed that the Red Castle are working on turning the South African's loan deal at the club into a permanent move, on the recommendation of coach Rulani Mokwena.

This comes after the former Mamelodi Sundowns star won the club's Player of the Month award, beating Mohamed Rayhi, who won the award for December, and attacker Zouhair El Moutaraji by a considerable distance.

The team recently posted an image of the South African posing with his individual award as they beat Hassania Union Sport Agadir by two goals to nil on Sunday. 

Fans, who reacted to the post, all expressed an eagerness to see the attacker stay at the club, with @abde_rrah_im even saying: "Mailula will only leave in coffins??."
