Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Brent Carelse has laid down a challenge to Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and the rest of the teams in the DStv Premiership.
On Wednesday, Sundowns managed to grind a 1-0 win over AmaZulu FC, taking their record to an impressive ten wins from ten matches in the league.
Carelse says the Rulani Mokwena side's good run should not be viewed as a bad thing to our football, but instead, the blame should be put on the other PSL clubs who are not posing a serious challenge to the defending champions.

"From a spectator's point of view yes you can say it's it's boring seeing one team winning the league over and over again," Carelse tells KickOff.
"But to be honest this has been a long time coming, when the Motsepe's took over seeing the club being the best in Africa was the mandate.
"The local teams' coaches you can even hear it from their tone that they've given up already.
"I will not say our league has become boring, but I will say to the other teams here is a challenge, take up the challenge.
"But to the other 15 teams, if Sundowns have 20 players who can easily occupy positions in your teams sitting in the stands, why aren't you getting them?
"People shouldn't be blaming Sundowns for doing what the other top clubs in the world are doing.
"Use your financial muscles to lure those players away from Sundowns. If you don't have money find ways to get it and make things happen.
"In the PSL there are clubs who are capable of matching Sundowns. Growing up everyone was talking about Chiefs and Pirates, where are they now?
"When was the last time these two clubs won something important like the league title?
"But for the players, it's not boring, if you ask the players they are going to tell you how challenging stopping Sundowns is. So let's just give credit where it's due."
