New Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso has issued a plea to the club's supporters ahead of his first competitive match.
On the back of a surprise unveiling, as the new head coach of Sundowns, confirmed at a club press conference on Tuesday, Cardoso has had little time to settle in at Chloorkop.

His first assignment comes as early as Saturday when his side takes on Raja Club Athletic in a CAF Champion League group stage encounter at Loftus Versfeld.
Ahead of the match, the Portuguese-born tactician has sent a message to the Masandawana fanbase.
"Mamelodi Sundowns fans should and I want to have please to be with us. Please supports us," Cardoso said in recent interview with the club's media.
"We need their energy. We want that joy We want to feel them every time.
"We will give our best to give the best answers to the questions that they put; to win. We will win. We will win but I am pretty sure that we will need them to help us with that.
"It should be as the cliche says, 'the 12th player' but not on the stands, we need to feel them with us and we want to be among them. That is what I want from them."

Sundowns will be looking for their first win in the continental showpiece this season, having drawn two of their opening matches.
The match will kick-off at 15:00.
