Allende moved across from Uruguayan club Montevideo City Torque in what was reported to be a big money move.

The 23-year-old has quickly settled in at Sundowns with the English that he picked up during the month-long training stint that he had with English club Arsenal coming in handy as he is comfortable with basic communication.
"It is because it is the best team in Africa, and I want to win trophies. It is good for me to come here," says Allende while speaking about his hopes for the national team.
Allende has been told by some back home that moving to the DStv Premiership is the end of his international career and has not been included in the latest squad.
"I would obviously love to get back into the national team but that will obviously depends on how I perform here.
"What I do on the pitch, the goals, and assists along with how I assist the team is what will bring me back to the same spot of playing for the national team.
"All of that doesn't depend on external factors but now I perform on the field and once that happens then they will see me again.
"I'm here to play football and that is what I will do," Allende added.
He also shared his thoughts about the local game having scored twice in five games to date.
"The quality of the players and the coaches in our team is actually good.
"The quality of the league is also interesting because every team has their style of play, and they make it difficult for every team they play against.
"It is good that we are working with coaches that are helping us a lot since they know a lot about football, so their expertise is helping us on every aspect of the game," says Allende.
