Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bathusi Aubaas has opened up on stiff competition at Sundowns, battles with injuries and working with Rulani Mokwena.
Aubaas has made seven appearances for the Brazilians since his shock switch from TS Galaxy at the start of the season. A groin injury has kept the midfielder out of action for over two months.

However, now on his way back to full fitness, Aubaas knows that he faces stiff competition for places in a midfield that includes Sipho Mbule, Bongani Zungu and Siphelele Mkhulise among others.
"I have to fight for my place, first of all," Aubaas said at the Nedbank Cup last 32 launch on Thursday.
"I have to respect the coaches' decisions. If I am not playing, I have to support the guys that are.
"It hasn't been difficult for me to play at Sundowns, it's just that I have an injury so the injury has kept me out of the team. But so far, I'm enjoying my football.

Aubaas made a two-minute cameo appearance for Sundowns against Polokwane City and the industrious midfielder will be aiming to secure a place in the starting eleven when the Brazilians return to competitive action against Golden Arrows on 14 February.
"I have to be ready, when the time comes I have to be ready for everything," added Aubaas.
"I have to be ready for the second round of the season. I have to fight. I have to help the team, the team has been helping with the scans and everything."
Asked on what working with Coach Rulani Mokwena has been like, Aubaas responded: "I can't lie, I'm enjoying the football."
