The identity of Mamelodi Sundowns' next CAF Champions League opponents will be confirmed in Egypt within the next seven days.
Sundowns are through to the quarterfinals and will go into the draw as one of four group winners who also enjoy the benefits of being seeded and playing the crucial second leg at home.

This then means they will avoid the other three group winners Al Ahly, Petro de Luanda, and ASEC Mimosas plus TP Mazembe who finished second in their group as teams from the same group cannot be fixtured be drawn to play against each other in the last eight.
With those guidelines, Sundowns will come up against four-time winners and Tunisian giants Esperance or any of the Tanzanian pair of Simba SC and Young Africans.
The draw is set for March 12 in Cairo.
Strangely, only two clubs from North Africa are through to the quarterfinals this year which has only ever happened once since the turn of the new millennium.
These are factors which give Sundowns yet another advantage in pushing for a continental double this season after picking up the inaugural African Football League which came with a handsome reward of USD4 million (approx. R76 million).
