Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Gift Motupa could remain in Tshwane this season after being spotted in the club colours of a team in Gauteng.
Motupa is currently a free agent after parting ways with Sundowns before the transfer window period deadline last week. The Limpopo-born striker was initially linked with a move to Polokwane City after struggling with injuries last season.
Insiders have revealed that Motupa has since resurfaced at SuperSport United in the hope of securing a deal.

According to an official at Matsatsantsa A Pitori, Motupa has been invited for an assessment.
"He has been invited to train with the club. He has not been playing for quite some time and the coaches want to look at him before deciding if will feature in their plans this season," said the official.
Motupa previously worked with coach Gavin Hunt at Bidvest Wits before making the move to Mamelodi Sundowns in 2020.
SuperSport have since enlisted the services of defender Keegan Allan from Moroka Swallows in a bid to bolster their squad this season. Allan has joined SuperSport as a free agent after parting ways with Swallows last week.
