Mamelodi Sundowns chairperson Tlhopie Motsepe has justified the big-money signing of Chilean midfielder Marcelo Allende.
Allende reportedly joined Sundowns for a record R51 million transfer fee from Uruguayan side Montevideo City Torque.
The 23-year-old penned a three-year deal with the Brazilians.

"Marcelo is a special boy, he is a great boy and a great person," Motsepe said.
"To talk about the price tag affecting him, I don't think so and first of all he understands the project.
"He is excited about what we're trying to achieve as a football club.
"He knows that at Mamelodi Sundowns he is also going to develop as a person and as footballer he is going to reach new heights.
"I am glad to see that he is settling in well, he knows the Mamelodi Sundowns sign. He came here only speaking Spanish, but now you can hear him picking up a few South African slangs words.
"I think a few guys are having an influence on him which is wonderful, I think he has acclimatising well and has embraced the South African culture.
"We just think he is going to enjoy success as a player and as a person."
