Former Mamelodi Sundowns star Lovers Mohlala does not approve of the club's reported interest in Stellenbosch FC star Junior Mendieta.
The Argentinian is believed to be close to a move to Chloorkop while being sought after by Kaizer Chiefs.

In 31 appearances for the Cape Winelands side, Mendieta has scored 10 goals with nine assists.
Mendieta could possibly next season compete alongside Marcelo Allende, Neo Maema, Sphelele Mkhulise, Themba Zwane and Abubeker Nasir for a starting berth.
"I don't rate Mendieta, to me, he is average," Mohlala tells KickOff.
"I believe there are far better players in South Africa than Mendieta.
"People can talk, but what position will he play at Sundowns. Who is he going to be competing with?
"Let's speak like people who know the game, what is Mendieta's threat? What makes him a threat?
"Mendieta is a player for Stellenbosch. When you sign an international player, that player should be twice as good as a South African player.
"You cannot sign an international player that is going to sit on the bench.
"Yes, he is getting game time at Stellenbosch, but that's because Steve Barker believes there must always be that one magician in a team.
"I'm not impressed with his work-rate and pace. Look, I've watched Stellenbosch play, he's one dimensional and cannot do anything else.
"I think he is a good player for Stellenbosch. If Sundowns buy him, it's fine, but they will see.
"I don't see him bringing anything different than what is already there at Sundowns."
