Assistant coach Romain Folz has given his assessment of Mamelodi Sundowns' performance in a 3-0 pre-season victory against Al Arabi as The Brazilians wrapped up preparations for the new season.
Sundowns wrapped up their pre-season preparations with two wins on the same day against Al Arabi and Al Hilal on Friday. The first match ended in a 3-0 win for Sundowns thanks to goals from Abubakeker Nasir, Thapelo Maseko and Tashreeq Matthews.

The second encounter ended 2-1 thanks to goals from Lucas Ribeiro Costa and Aubrey Modiba.
Speaking to the club's media after the Al Arabi match, Folz said although he was impressed with his side, there is still room for improvement.
"I believe it was a good game for us, as you said, it was a good opposition, with good players, good individuals and collectively they are quite well sounded as well.
"But I believe our players managed to execute what we want, what we were looking for. It's not perfect by any means, I believe we could have scored more, honestly, we had the chances both halves to be a little bit more cut-throat coming into the final third.
"But I felt like our defensive balance was every good, our counter press was most- often interesting, but there is always room for improvement.
