Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Roger Feutmba believes that the absence of veteran midfielder Themba Zwane has impacted the team to some extent.

The Sundowns legend is of the opinion that the club needs to find an adequate replacement for Zwane, who will be sidelined until at least March 2025 due to injury.
"Every team has that influential player who picks the team up when they are down and Themba is that player for Sundowns. They need to replace him. They have to look at which player can take over that responsibility now that Themba is injured," Feutmba told KickOff.
"Obviously, it won't be exactly the same because every player have their own pedigree but it will help cover up the gap until Themba recovers. It's unfortunate he is out because of injury but the club should look at replacing him to keep the momentum in the squad."
