Renowned football official Kenneth Makhanya is set to make a sensational return to Mamelodi Sundowns in the new season.
Makhanya is reported to have tendered his resignation to the Premier League of Eswatini, where he served as a Chief Executive Officer, and is expected to land in South Africa on Monday to report at his new work station.

The highly qualified football official served as General Manager at Sundowns a few years ago, before returning to the Mountain Kingdom to take up a position as CEO of the Premier League.
He also worked for Black Leopards and the Motsepe Foundation in his previous jobs in South Africa.
Makhanya confirmed during a press conference in Mbabane on Tuesday that has resigned from the Premier League of Eswatini after getting a new offer in South Africa.
"I have asked not to be engaged further by the PLE and tendered my resignation, which was warmly welcomed by the executive.
"It is an offer I could not refuse and my last day with PLE is this Friday," said Makhanya during the press conference at the Sigwaqa House in Mbabane.

Despite the strong link to Sundowns, a report from Eswatini says he is set to start a new job at the Patrice Motsepe Foundation, though his exact post is yet to be known.
Efforts to get hold of Makhanya for comment about his next destination in football proved futile as his mobile phone was reported to be out of coverage at the time of compiling the story.
