The attacking midfielder is currently the leading goal-scorer in the Betway Premiership, an award he can already be guaranteed of, before the ceremony is held, if he finishes as top scorer.
Another award he will be vying for is that of Goal of the Season.
The 26-year-old has two Goal of the Month awards to his name this campaign, up to March 2025, which more than any other player. He won it in two consecutive months - January and February.
This was for his acrobatic finish in Sundowns' 2-1 win over Magesi FC and then for his strike from a solo run in a 4-1 thrashing of Orlando Pirates.

However, the Ribeiro faces stiff competition from Stellenbosch FC left-back Fawaaz Basadien, who clinched it for September/October, for his long-range effort from his own half against Cape Town City.
Other contenders for Goal of the Season include Mduduzi Shabalala of Kaizer Chiefs, who got the honour for November/December for his strike against Chippa United, as well as Azola Ntsabo for his curling free-kick for the Chilli Boys against Polokwane City in March.
