Mamelodi Sundowns' still have further registration decisions to make that will settle their foreign quota as they get ready for the CAF Champions League and Betway Premiership campaigns.
Sundowns have Champions League business with Mbabane Swallows, with both legs being played in Tshwane, and in between have a midweek league derby against SuperSport United.

This will mean the start of the two competitions that will define their season and for which they will need to frequently field their best teams and still have strong options on the bench.
The two competitions will carry the value of 44 games should Sundowns get to the final in May next year.
With that in mind, in comes the issue of the foreign quota at the club.
From the players that were on their foreign quota last season, Abdelmounaim Boutouil (Morocco) has left along with the Argentine pair of Junior Mendieta and Matias Esquivel, creating three new spaces.
Brazilian striker Arthur de Oliviera Sales has taken up one slot with Marcelo Allende (Chile) and Lucas Ribeiro Costa (Brazil) holding on to their places from last season.
Two spaces remain open and with two other foreign players – Ethiopian striker Abubeker Nasir and Bolivian midfielder Erwin Saavedra – it should be simple.
Unfortunately, this hasn't been the case considering the circumstances of the two players, who have had a fair share of injury troubles.
Nasir was de-registered halfway through last season due to injury issues and is yet to get any official minutes this year for both club and country having played only 72 minutes last season.
The Ethiopian still has a contract at Sundowns, but his injury concerns have been so sensitive that even though he was called up to the national team for this FIFA date, he didn't travel due to the fact that he is not fit.
This leaves his registration status on 'pending'.
Saavedra has returned to Chloorkp after his loan to former employers Club Bolivar.

He also has injury-related issues from the past but played 13 matches while back home and even got back into the national team.
Sundowns have to decide on how to proceed with the registration of the pair.
