Mamelodi Sundowns will have started the process of placing orders for champagne bottles with Peter Shalulile having come within touching distance of surpassing Siyabonga Nomvete's all-time top scoring tally.
That Nomvete will now be ousted by Shalulile has become a matter of when instead of if, with the Namibian doing it quicker.

Shalulile had a brace to his name on Wednesday in moving up to 120 goals playing for a top-tier league club in South Africa.
The 31-year-old has played for Highlands Park and Sundowns.
'Bhele', as Nomvete is nicknamed, called time on his career having scored 123 goals in all competitions playing for African Wanderers, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Moroka Swallows and AmaZulu FC.
His scoring feat started during the 1997/98 season at Wanderers, where he was a menace along with Sibusiso Zuma and Phumlani Mkhize.
He scored his last back home in KwaZulu-Natal with AmaZulu in the 2018/19 season.
However, 'Bhele' will soon lose his scoring crown to another hard-running forward, who is a true example of what comes with being an honest hard worker regardless of talent.
Shalulile could have long ousted Nomvete but has had his own scoring troubles, which have included going eight games without a goal recently until he scored in the 5-0 massacre of Golden Arrows in the Carling Knockout.

Last season, he went 10 games without scoring, before grabbing a brace against TS Galaxy at the end of April.
The Sundowns gunslinger's numbers have read 22, 30, 23 and 15 at the side and with three so far will want to make it to double figures again.
He scored 19 in his last season at Highlands Park.
He has scored 93 goals since joining Sundowns in September 2020.
