Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Ronwen Williams' performances have shot him up to top of the list in possible transfer discussions in the Gulf Region.
Williams has risen to international stardom since moving to Sundowns at the beginning of last season with his club displays matching his national team performances.

His showing at the recent AFCON led to him being voted as the best goalkeeper at the tournament after he kept five clean sheets in seven games and saved penalties while playing every minute of Bafana Bafana's games.
At club level, Williams has 27 clean sheets in 38 games and has only conceded 13 goals.
His Bafana game count in the last six months stands at 10.

This website has been told that Williams is so highly rated in the Gulf Region that clubs in the Saudi Pro League have started preliminary efforts in trying to get an understanding about what it will take to entice him.
All the 18 clubs in the Saudi Pro League have foreign keepers as first choice with Yassine Bounou at Al Hilal, David Ospina (Al Nassr), Edouard Mendy (Al Ahli), Marcelo Grohe (Al Ittihad), Mailson (Al Taawon), Jacob Rinne (Al Fateh)
Paulo Victor (Al Ettifaq), Moustapha Zeghba (Damak), and Kim Seung-Gyu (Al Shabab).
In the bottom half there is Ibrahim Sehic (Al Khaleej), Vladimir Stojkovic (Al Fayha), Munir Mohamedi (Al Wehda), Andre Moreira (Al Raed), Victor Braga (Al Tai), Martin Campana (Al Riyadh), Anton Tatarusanu (Abha Club)
Paulo Vitor (Al Akhdoud), and Aymen Dahmen (Al Hazm).

Though it is unlikely that Sundowns will agree to cash in on Williams, a flood of offers are expected to start trickling in during the off-season.
Williams' transfer evaluation is in the region of R25 million, but Sundowns will only likely listen to offers well above that.
Should a deal be done for the Saudi League, Williams stands to earn USD2,5 million (approx. R48 million) per annum, which will come tax free.
The personal terms will be a huge improvement from what he is earning at Sundowns.
KickOff.com has spoken to two contacts based in the Gulf Region who have both indicated that Williams is of interest in the Saudi market and has constantly been in transfer talks.
The 32-year-old was followed from close during Saturday's CAF Champions League defeat to Esperance in Tunis.
