Maritzburg United head coach Fadlu Davids has labeled the DStv Premiership clash between Golden Arrows and Chippa United as a 'disgrace'.
After a securing a point against Mamelodi Sundowns, Maritzburg's hopes to avoid the PSL Promotion/Relegation playoffs effectively hung on both Swallows and Golden Arrows winning their respective matches against Marumo Gallants and Chippa United, prompting Davids to send a warning that both matches should be scrutinised to ensure the integrity of both clashes.
Sounds like the pressure is more on the Arrows Players. Football is like politics. E boima ntwe. We are going to enjoy our game .. No Pressure. There is no amount of Coach Fadlu Pressure that will deny our DDC players a debut ???????? pic.twitter.com/ZkXUruPm0Y

Swallows defeated Gallants 2-0 to seal a spot in the top-eight and relegate Gallants to the Motsepe Foundation Championship. Arrows and Chippa however have come under-fire for a lackluster at Nelson Mandela Bay performance that ended in a goalless draw that both teams appeared content with.
To spectators' shock, the fixture included moments of players casually passing the ball with opponents seemingly unbothered to regain possession, fueling debate across social media.

Speaking to journalists after his side's 2-0 win against Casric Stars in the PSL Promotion/Relegation Playoffs on Wednesday night, Davids hit out at both teams.
"I think that's the reason I spoke the way I did and blatantly on live TV," Davids said.
"That is the most disappointing [part], maybe if it was a TV game there in the bush somewhere that nobody saw, it's still a disgrace, but on live TV.
"I don't care but okay, that is in the past, we move, [but] that is why I was calling for [split-screen coverage] the way I did, it's disappointing that our league has come to this."
Meanwhile, United got their Relegation/Promotional playoffs to a bright start with a 2-0 win over Casric Stars on Wednesday night.
Up next for City is Cape Town Spurs at Athlone Stadium on Saturday. Kick-off is at 15:00.
