French forward Amadou Soukouna has found a new home in Thailand after his two years stay in the DStv Premiership ended in relegation at Maritzburg.
Soukouna stood out as the best performer in the 2022/23 season for Maritzburg as they sank back to the Motsepe Foundation Championship after 15 consecutive years playing in the league.

The 31-year-old scored eight goals to emerge as the club's top scorer.
There had been expectations that he would stay on in the DStv Premiership but none of that has happened.

Soukouna has now moved on to True Bangkok United in Thailand.
The Asians play in the Thai League 1 which begins on Friday, August 11.
Soukouna's terms of engagement at Bangkok will make him one of the better earners at the club and becomes one of many players that have left the Team of Choice following their relegation.
