Maritzburg United head coach Fadlu Davids has called for more 'ruthlessness' from his side following a dominant 2-0 win against Casric Stars in the PSL Promotion/Relegation playoffs.
The Team of Choice kicked off their bid for survival to a bright start with a dominant 2-0 win over Mostepe Foundation Championship outfit Casric Stars, courtesy of a first-half brace from inform-midfielder Rowan Human.

Both teams created opportunities in the second half but neither team was able to find the back of the net.
"[We played] some outstanding football at times, scored the first goal, scored the second. Just disappointed that we didn't ad the third or the fourth. We've really got to change that mindset, the ruthlessness, the mentality going to Cape Town Spurs away."

"If we are the PSL (Premiership) team we have to show that we are the PSL (Premiership) team, that we can manage games. That's why I'm disappointed that we could not kill off the game [as] I expected the players to do," Davids told journalists after the match.
"2-0 at half-time, the possibilities were there. The crowd was behind us, we had a really fantastic passage of play to be able to score [instead we were] kicking the ball against our own player.
"It's not about training now, it's about recovery, but these are the things we've got to have honest and clear conversations to be able to change it before we face Cape Town Spurs.
"Really fantastic football at times, but we have to be able to do it for 90 minutes and be more ruthless."
Up next for City is a clash against Cape Town Spurs at Athlone Stadium on Saturday.
Kick-Off is at 15:00.
