'Chivaviro will be not playing in SA next season' - Agent

Marumo Gallants striker Ranga Chivaviro looks set to complete a move abroad, with his representative revealing that the striker will not be playing in South Africa next season.

Chivaviro has in recent weeks been linked with several DStv Premiership sides alongside overseas based teams.

The 30-year striker has emerged as one of the most sought-after players this season following his excellent displays in front of goal by scoring 10 goals in 19 league appearances.

Chivaviro was reported to have signed a pre-contract agreement with top-flight side Richards Bay, that his agent Herve Tra Bi now disputes.

"That's not true. All these reports are very confusing and cause a lot of problems," Tra Bi tells KickOff.

"Ranga has not signed with any team. He will be not playing in South Africa next season.

"We are currently looking at a number of offers from abroad."

Chivaviro was also linked to Tanzanian giants Young Africans after a reported meeting with the player's camp when in South Africa for a CAF Confederation Cup clash in May.

The striker's agent had previously confirmed to KickOff that several teams had shown an interest in signing Chivaviro.

"We are receiving interest both from local and international teams," Tra Bi said.

"There is also interest from Saudi Arabia but unfortunately, I can't reveal their names."
