Elzargha is believed to have detained both Matsena and Dhlomo in Libya after Gallants owner Abram Sello failed to pay a bill reported to be around R700 000.
After South African government intervention, both Rufus Matsena and Tebogo Dhlomo were released by Ali Elzargha and reunited with their families back in Limpopo after arriving at the OR Tambo Airport on Monday.
"We are very delighted to be home," Matsena told PrimeSport soon after arriving at the OR Tambo airport.
"You know there is no prize that you can place in terms of the feeling we have. We are very excited. If there is something else that needs to be said, tomorrow there will be a press conference all be reviled tomorrow but it's good to be back," he added.
