Marumo Gallants coach Dan Malesela has lamented the lack of financial power to compete with other teams in the transfer market.
Malesela is back at Gallants after a short stint with Royal AM.
The former Orlando Pirates captain suffered his first defeat since returning to the Limpopo-based side when beaten 1-0 by Mamelodi Sundowns during the DStv premiership league match played in Tshwane yesterday.

Malesela has expressed no regret about returning to Marumo Gallants even though don't have the material to compete with the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in the PSL.
"No we rely on freebies, when they are free people, we grab and those that are willing to come and help, we grab, it's always been my story and so I am used to it", said Malesela.
'Dan Dance' has always been fired everywhere is working except at Royal AM where he decided to leave on allegations of poor working conditions at the club.
"I always think I am taking the right decisions, always think I do even though sometimes I am proved wrong I am an optimistic person.
"I am never negative when approaching things but this one (of going back to Marumo Gallants) was better informed because when I looked at the squad.
"I said most of the players that were at the club last season are still there and was not going to be difficult to fuse the other ones, so I still maintain it was the right decision.
"I believe the results will come; we will get out of this situation very soon "he added.
