Ngema's decision leave Malesela confused

Marumo Gallants FC head coach Dan "Dance" Malesela says the news that Celimpilo Ngema has signed for Premiership rivals is very confusing.

According to AmaZulu's chairman Sandile Zungu, the 25-year-old attacking midfielder will don the green and white of Usuthu next season.

His one goal and 12 assists have won him a pre-contract with the KwaZulu-Natal giants.

"Yooh! That's even news to me. I don't even know what must I comment on," Malesela tells KickOff.

"I don't know, but the reality of the matter is that players come and go.

"I'm in the technical meeting now with other coaches so this is confusing."

Zungu says as a club they rate their new acquisition very highly.

"Ya it's true, he's signed a pre-contract with AmaZulu.

"So he will join us at the beginning of the new season.

"Ya, we think very highly of him," Zungu said.

AmaZulu has so far played 14 league matches and is in position 7 on the Dstv Premiership log table, and in a better position than Gallants who are 14th.
