The appointment of former Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki at Marumo Gallants has been explained in detail, with results on the pitch for the top-flight returnees far from impressive.
The highly qualified Ntseki, who has also coached Bafana Bafana, has been announced as Gallants' new Technical Director.

He previously held the role of Head of Technical at Kaizer Chiefs, before taking over as the club's head coach at the beginning of last season, replacing Arthur Zwane.
According to a club statement, the appointment is intended to strengthen the Bloemfontein-based outfit's technical department and promote the team's success on the field.
There are concerns, though, that Ntseki may be seen as a back-up plan for popular coach Dan 'Dance' Malesela, who has not had a great start at Bahlabane Ba Ntwa, notwithstanding the small matter of reaching the Carling Knockout final.
The team currently sits in 14th place on the log after six league matches, having won one game, drawn another and losing the rest.
"Molefi Ntseki's role is that of a Technical Director and nothing more," an insider at Gallants assures KickOff.com.
"Ntseki and Malesela are too close to compete for each other's jobs. They even attended the same coaching class and were roommates. They are happy to work together.
"Ntseki will focus on everything, especially the DStv Diski Challenge team, as he is very passionate about developing young talent.

"The chairman [Abram Sello] brought him to the team because the DDC team is not performing well. He will be doing similar work to what he did at Kaizer Chiefs before he took over the first team. Even Stan Nkoane, the coach of the DDC team, is very excited about Ntseki's appointment, as he will provide significant support," explained the insider.
When contacted for his take, Malesela stated that he could not comment on the new development at the club.
"Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to speak about such issues," he said.
