Marumo Gallants Chairman Abram Sello has provided some insight into what the next steps will be following the return of two club officials who were reportedly held hostage in Libya for over 20 days over.
Gallants landed in hot water hen it emerged that two of the club's staff members, media officer Rufus Matsena and physio Tebogo Dhlomo did return with the rest of the team from Libya and had been held captive as part of a financial dispute over failed repayments since mid-March.
Gallants owner Sello is understood to have failed of settle a bill in the region of R700 000 for the players' accommodation during the club's CAF Confederations Cup clash against Al Akhdar SC.
The duo have since been released unharmed and landed back on South African shores last week. Speaking in a press conference held in Sandton on Tuesday, Gallants owner Sello says
"I won't go into details but everting has been sorted out. Our international relations have managed to come in and then everything is fine.
Sello also insisted that that the club had tried as far back as January to secure accommodation.
"We started as early as January and I tell you tried all the agencies. But so far it depends from country to count. I think we are talking about it, it's a little bit challenging being there.

Asked he believed there was any criminality surrounding the situation, Sello said he would let the authorities handle the matter.
"I won't do any judgements now," Sello responded.
"The matter has been elevated to authorities, they are busy with that particular one and to make sure that the whole thing gets settled…government, SAFA and the rest of the of the football fraternity authorities, You can name them all, they are part of this now.
"I can't prevent what they do and I can say to them what they must do. We've done our part as a club."
