The Urban Warriors beat the Cane Cutters 3-1 at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Saturday to move one point clear of their promotion rivals at the top of the table.
However, Uthongathi claim some of their players were offered money to throw the game ahead of the clash.
"Yes it's true, we got that from the players," media officer Nkosinathi Chili tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"We said to them it's all about honestly, we won't entertain on who is calling who. We also told them they are contracted and have to fight for the club and their future.
"One of our players confirmed with us those allegations that he was offered R100 000 and was told to be loyal to his city as he's from Cape Town."
Uthongathi will not open a case with the PSL because it will not change the result.
"As management we agreed not to open a case as we want to focus on getting promotion, we don't want anything that can disturb us," Chili adds.
Ajax chairman Ari Efstathiou laughed off the allegations, saying almost every week in the first division there is talk of bribery.
"It's the easiest thing to spread a rumour, I mean every match we play we hear other teams have tried the same thing," Efstathiou responds.
"It's nonsense. I wouldn't waste a minute on it. Ajax have a huge reputation in the community of Cape Town and the Western Cape. We will never do such nonsense."
Ajax Cape Town have 32 points after 15 matches and will be hoping to extend their lead when they face Steenberg in a Cape derby on Saturday.
