Ayanda Gcaba training with Jomo Cosmos

Gcaba, who was part of the Pirates team that lost in the CAF Champions League final in 2014, is hoping to earn a contract with Ezenkosi.

According to a source close to player, the opportunity to join Cosmos came at a good time for the former Free State stars defender after Royal Eagles lost their GladAfrica Championship status.

"Gcaba is now in Johannesburg, he could join Jomo Cosmos on a two-year deal," the source tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"He has been very clear about his intention to continue with his career for at least another three years, so this deal came at a good time for him."

Cosmos boss Jomo Sono confirms the player is training with his side but says he has not signed yet.
