Cape Town Spurs sign Lerato Manzini - PSL transfer news

Spurs completed their rebranding from Ajax Cape Town last week and their first move ahead of their quest to return to the top-flight was the appointment of Vladislav Heric as head coach.

Former Urban Warriors manager Ian Taylor has also been roped in as the assistant to the Serbian tactician after his stint in China and Spurs have now actively looked towards bolstering their first-team squad.

Having released a host of players including the likes of Eleazar Rodgers after the heartbreaking end to the 2019/20 season, Manzini has now been roped in to lead the line after leaving Chippa United.

The 30-year-old forward will provide Spurs with a wealth of experience having played in the top-flight for the past 10 years since his professional breakthrough with Bloemfontein Celtic.

Manzini has scored 29 goals and registered five assists in 119 appearances in the top-flight since his first-team debut in September 2011 with Celtic and enjoyed stints with SuperSport United and the Chilli Boys.
