Larsen reflects on Magesi future after promotion

Coach Clinton Larsen has pledged his loyalty to Magesi FC after helping the team get promoted to the DStv Premiership.

Magesi beat Milford FC by 3-1 in Polokwane on Sunday to seal their automatic promotion to the Premiership next season.

Dikwena Tsa Meetse has joined Sekhukhune United and Polokwane City among teams from Limpopo who will compete in the top-flight next season. They are expected to keep Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane as their home venue again next season.

Larsen's contract with Magesi FC is due to expire next month but remains confident that will remain with the team next season.

"I am still going to sit down with the team like all coaches when they go to PSL. We going to sit down and negotiate and I am positive that all we will work out well"." I am happy here. I have a good relationship with the chairman and the CEO which is very important for any coach," Larsen tells KickOff.

Magesi is left with Castric Stars and Venda Football Club before concluding their campaign in the Motsepe Foundation League.

"The last two games are very important. As Magesi we have broken many records. We have broken records in terms of goals scored, goals conceded, and away wins," he added.

"We want to break records in terms of the number of points in the league this season and the last two games are very important," Larsen added.
