With this acquisition, the ambitious outfit appear to be making a sent a strong signal of how competitive they aim to be, with the veteran having won the Premiership league title five times.

Besides the fruitful spell at the Glamour Boys and trophy-laden stint with The Brazilians, Maluleka has also been on the books of AmaZulu FC.

The Bushbuckridge-based outfit is aiming to make a strong impression in the league, and currently sit ninth on the log table after three matches played.

Speaking in a recent interview on 947's MSW, the 35-year-old confirmed that he had no immediate plans of retiring.

"I'm a baller, I'm still a baller, I love football, I'm passionate about it. I'm still club-hunting and I believe something will come up," Maluleka declared.

"We are working very hard. My agent is still out there trying to make sure we get the right deal.

"But I still have a lot in my legs, so, I'm not about to hang the boots just as yet.

"I have always said I love this game so much. I think at this point in time, money is the last thing on my mind. I've always been on the field and that's where I want to be. So, I just want to play."

Maluleka could make his debut when Kruger take on Baroka FC on Saturday.

If he does play on the day, he will be up against familiar foes in the form of former Pirates duo Collins Makgaka and Siphelele Mthembu.
