There has been much speculation about whether the PSL will urge teams to cut players' salaries as football remains on a forced break.
In Europe there are clubs that have already cut salaries due to the economic impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
But Richards Bay chairman Jomo Biyela says the GladAfrica Championship side will keep paying their players' full salaries until they get some sort of order from the PSL.
"We are working under contracts, we are professionals and we need to honour our contracts as club bosses," Biyela tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"In terms of salary cuts we will be directed by the League. We haven't discussed that as a club because the League hasn't informed us on anything regarding that.
"For example the league was supposed to end in May and players contracts' in June and by law you still have to pay them. So we don't see any difference from this besides the fact that we are not playing because of this virus."
Richards Bay will start negotiating with the relevant players once they get official word from the PSL on what will happen with the rest of the season.
"I've heard talks about that and if the league ends in July, we will discuss with players who are affected in terms of extending contracts," Biyela adds.
"Because I believe they will also have to come to the party as they won't be able to join any team at that time."
