KickOff can reveal that Black Leopards have lowered their asking price for striker Bethuel Muzeu, which could pave the way for the Namibian to move to Mzansi's elite division in the new season.
Leopards had initially placed a price tag of R20 million on Muzeu's signature after both local and international teams showed interest in signing him.

This was hot on the heels of his exploits in the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season, with the highly-rated marksman scoring 17 goals for Lidoda Duvha in the league last season to provoke wide interest from North Africa and Saudi Arabia.
This publication understands that Leopards has agreed to sell Muzeu for a lesser prize, with Kaizer Chiefs reportedly watching the situation with keen interest.
"Black Leopards have lowered the price and are now ready to listen to new offers. Kaizer Chiefs have shown interest but have yet to submit an official offer. The interest from other teams is expected to revive especially after the club has lowered the price," said a source.
Cape Town City are another club that were reported interested in snapping Muzeu up.

The Citizens are currently looking for a striker to replace Khanyisa Mayo, who recently made a switch to Algeria to link up with CR Belouizdad. The player touted to replace the Bafana Bafana international, in Amadou Soukouna, has been grounded in Thailand due to paperwork issues, according to head coach Eric Tinkler, and it remains to be seen if he will eventually arrive in time for the new season.
Muzeu was part of the Namibian national team that participated in the Africa Cup of Nations held in Ivory Coast early this year, where they created history by making it to the round of 16 for the first time in their history.
