The midfielder is currently under suspension by TTM after he was alleged to have gone AWOL after their league match against Cape Umoya United back in March.
However, the former SuperSport United midfielder dismissed the club's statement on the matter and said he was attending family matters in Cape Town during that period.
SAFPU general secretary Calvin Motloung has confirmed that TTM failed to pay full salaries to some of their players last month.
"We are currently attending to the issue and trying to speak to [TTM CEO] Sello Chokoe with regards to the payment of players last month and we are also trying to attend to the issue of Zongo," Motloung tells snl24.com/kickoff.
Efforts to get hold of Chokoe failed to yield any results after he failed to respond to calls and messages.
