Mbombela United's Swazi players return to training after border issues

Felix Badenhorst, Banele Sikhondze, Sabelo Ndzinisa, Njabulo Ndlovu and Justice Figuareido have finally reported for training following a frustrating experience while trying to return from lockdown at home.

The Swazi players were denied entrance at the Oshoek Border post earlier this week, just as they were last week, due to travel restrictions owing to outstanding documents under the Covid-19 rules and regulations.

Also reporting for training with Tingwenyama today is assistant coach Siyabonga Bhembe after meeting the full compliance that was requested for travelling into South Africa from outside the country.

United manager Patrick Mabuza has confirmed that all their international players have now reported for training.

"They are all now back at training. It was a long and expensive exercise but we are happy that they have arrived back at the club," Mabuza tells snl24.com/kickoff.

Former SuperSport United and Sihlangu Semnikati midfielder Dennis Masina is now assistant coach at Mbombela United.
