The former Uthongathi FC coach is the new man in charge of the ABC Motsepe League club still known as African All Stars, who will operate under a new name in the first division next season.
All Stars have bought the NFD status of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila after their owner Lawrence Mulaudzi sold so that he could buy Bidvest Wits.
Ferreira transformed The Cane Cutters into promotion contenders before he was sacked in the middle of the season despite being third in the table, and says he wants to finish what he started.
"Yes, I've joined the club already, I will be there on Monday and it's a one-year contract," Ferreira tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"For now I'm not sure whether we will finish the current [ABC Motsepe League] season or not but my object is to reward the chairman for believing in me.
"I would like to make sure that we qualify for the promotion playoffs if we manage to finish this current campaign."
All Stars were sixth on the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League log with seven matches remaining when all football was suspended.
Ferreira did not want to talk about his former club but admitted he was hurt about not being allowed to finish what he started with them.
"At Uthongathi I couldn't finish what we started and would've loved to promote them but unfortunately I couldn't," he adds.
"Since I was not allowed to do that there, now I want to achieve it with Sekhukhune. They are an ambitious team and for that I want to make sure come next season we get promotion."
