The former Orlando Pirates forward was buried in Tshwane on Thursday after being granted a Special Provincial Official Funeral Category Two by the State President, Cyril Ramaphosa.

Moripe, who had been wheelchair-bound for more than two years, leaves a huge legacy behind him after Super Stadium in Atteridgeville, Tshwane was named after him.

He died at the age of 74 at the Kalafong Hospital in Atteridgeville on Tuesday last week.

Malada says learning to live without the soccer legend, who was also affectionately known as 'Modimo wa bolo' (God of football) due to his prowess on the soccer field, will not be an easy task.

"Life will never be the same without him", said an emotional Pretoria Callies boss after the funeral of the South African soccer legend in Atteridgeville on Thursday.

"You know how supportive he was to all of us and our team. He was a father to me, to the boys, and everybody within the team. You know, you can't separate him from the team.

"You can't speak of Pretoria Callies without speaking of him, you speak of him without speaking of Pretoria Callies, but what can we do, God has done His way," he added.
