When TTM bought Bidvest Wits' status there were rumours that 'MaMkhize' would leave her role as Real Kings' sponsor and join the Limpopo-based side.
Mkhize has now bought the status of Kings and plans to rename it Royal AM FC after installing her son Andile Mpisane as chairman.
"Why you had to mention TTM?" MaMkhize laughed when quizzed about the talk that she is actually eyeing a place in the top league.
"Well, I'm a person with expertise and I bring different things so I'm bound to be linked everywhere, but I'm here now at Royal AM akere."
The new club owner revealed how she secured Real Kings and clarified the sponsorship agreement she had with the GladAfrica Championship club.
"The deal was done at the end of last season. Mr Ngidi maybe needed someone to assist him with the club so when the season ended we pulled out as a sponsor," she explained.
"Because our intentions were always clear that we wanted to own a club and at the end of the season we then looked out for clubs. Then Andile requested to speak with Mr Ngidi as we had indicated to him our plans to buy the club."
Former Kings midfielder Mpisane is now the youngest club chairman under the PSL umbrella at just 19 years old.
