Royal Eagles centre-back Happy Mashau has signed for a top-tier club in Kosovo, FK Trepca 89.
The 27-year-old played 25 matches for the Eagles team that was relegated from the GladAfrica Championship to the ABC Motsepe League last season.
According Mashau's agent Lebo 'Guluva' Mashishi, the Kriel-born star left on Sunday last week to sign a three-year deal with the Football Superleague side.

"He signed for two seasons and an option for one," Mashishi tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"It came through my very close partner Kenneth Yamongbe, who contacted me and I presented Happy. So they followed him throughout the bio-bubble, collected his stats and they were convinced. So they sent us the contract and the player was signed a week after Royal Eagles was officially relegated."
Meanwhile, Eagles general manager Lungile Mzolo says next season's plans for the KwaZulu-Natal club are still not clear.
"Eagles has been relegated you know, so we are still waiting for a lot of things to be finalised. Things will be much clearer when the season starts, then I will be able to tell you who is still here and who has left," Mzolo says.

"We haven't confirmed anything at the moment. We still have players, but others they are now free as their contracts ended in June. It's up to a player if he wants to extend or not. There will be a team next season but I can't confirm some of the things at this stage."
