According to an insider, some of the players are owed up to two months' salaries and they will neither go to training nor honour fixtures until the issue is resolved.
Contacted today, the club's CEO Morgan Mammila could not be reached for comment.
"Ya some of the players didn't get paid and they didn't go to training, and some the owner [Sbu Mpisane] didn't pay them for two months," the source tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"Players didn't go to training because they want the money, and before Sunday's game [against Swallows FC] the players didn't want to play, then he started to pay a few, then after he didn't pay other players.
"Maybe if everyone knows about this, he will start paying players. The whole squad didn't go today [to training]. We just gave them a letter, we won't go to training till we get our salaries."
The insider was asked if the players will honour their GladAfrica Championship fixtures for the remainder of the season.
"No we won't, till we get our money. As a team, players want their salaries."
Eagles are in big trouble at the bottom of the GladAfrica Championship log with just 15 points from 22 matches, eight points from safety with eight matches remaining.
