The two parties' negotiations recently collapsed after they failed to reach an agreement on a new contract.
Zuke joined Uthongathi in December 2019 following his release from top-flight club Golden Arrows and featured 11 times for the Cane Cutters.
"I'm no longer with Uthongathi so I'm still job-hunting," Zuke tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"We were talking, negotiating for a new contract, but couldn't reach an agreement, so we parted ways. There are things we didn't see with the same eye.
"The person I'm working with is still looking. Yes, time waits for no man my brother and you can't say you are not worried, but I'm just patiently waiting. I'm looking at any division my brother."
Other clubs the 33-year-old has played for include Chippa United, Mpumalanga Black Aces and Bidvest Wits.
In 2012 he also had a short stint with Osotspa FC in Thailand.
