Sibusiso Sibeko signs for Polokwane City - PSL transfer news

The Durban born striker, who had been struggling to get game-time at Arrows, has signed a two-year deal with the GladAfrica Championship side.

"Yes bro I'm at Polokwane City right now, I've signed a two-year contract," Sibeko tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"We are preparing for the new season and everything is going well, they've welcomed me with open arms. I'm happy with the love they are showing me, all I want to do is play football again."

Sibeko, 25, spent more than a decade with Abafana Bes'thende from an early age in their development structures but it was time to seek other opportunities and he has expressed his gratitude to the club that made him.

"My time at Arrows was the best to be honest because I was able to win trophies with them from the National First Division to MultiChoice Diski Challenge," he says.

"We shared some great moments. I have learnt everything I know about football at Arrows, they've done so well for me."

Sibeko has vowed to help Rise and Shine return to the top-flight as he feels they don't deserve to play in the first division.

"Moving forward I just want to help the team win promotion and get back into the top-flight because that's were I belong and the team belongs. I will give it my all."
