New Leopards star: My settlement was R15 000

New Black Leopards signing Tumelo Makha has shared the latest on his financial dispute with his former employers Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila FC.

The Lesotho international arrived at TTM from Lioli FC in January 2021, but their marriage did not last long following some financial issues.

With the help of SAFPU Makha won the case against TTM and was awarded R93 000.

"Yes I'm back in South Africa, as for the R93 000 apparently TTM owed a lot of other people not just me, so their grant money turned out to be not enough for it to be shared amongst all of us," Makha tells KickOff in another exclusive.

"So out of the R93 000 I was expecting, I was only paid fifteen thousand and forty rand. But at the end I had to understand and take it as a bonus for me.

"I don't know how much Tshakhuma were given as a grant, I don't know how many people they owed, so I was just told by the players union that this is how much you get."

Makha advise other players to be careful of people who might take advantage of them.

"People need to honour their contract and follow them. If you have any issues just go to the South African Football Players Union they will help you with everything."

Makha who has not played any official match for Lidoda Duvha since he signed, will finally make his debut this weekend when they take on JDR Stars.
