Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Collins Mbesuma has been backed to return and play a big role in shaping the striker coach landscape in PSL.
Mbesuma secured a big coaching gig as a striker coach at Sekhukhune United, after a spell at Pretoria Callies, at the beginning of last season and his impact was undeniable, after the side finished an impressive fourth in the log standings.

However, Sekhukhune did not retain the legendary former Zambian international, who has now been roped in by Motsepe Foundation Championship side Venda Football Club in the same role.
After newly-appointed head coach Vladislav Heric led the team to their first win of the season against Kruger United in the second tier, he hailed the influence that Mbesuma had on his coaching, speaking exclusively to KickOff.
"That's a very big boost for our technical team to have Collins as our attacking coach, he knows a lot of tricks, he has great experience. His tremendous support for me during training and coaching methodology helps a lot," Heric said.
"We don't have strikers in the country of his calibre. Maybe or two, but not where he was. Remember, during his time there were excellent strikers. But now [that] is not the case.
"This is our best striker, I think he still has the record of scoring 25 goals [in the league and 35 goals overall in 2004/05 for Kaizer Chiefs]. So, he's [was] a very successful striker and a good coach now.
"I think Collins Mbesuma will play a big role in the PSL and he will return very soon, whether with us or with someone else," the former Chippa United mentor concluded.

Hiring a striker coach has been rare and is a scarce resource in the PSL.
Venda have also signed former Maritzburg United marksman Judas Moseamedi, who scored the only goal on debut in their 1-0 win over Kruger last Saturday.
